Final Project: Current Process

I have been primarily working in Premiere to edit the video clips I have. The music has been added already as a source to know when and where to place effects. I have been exploring various tutorials, and have decided on adding varying camera movements and color correction effects. Though this beach scene is just the first section of the video.

This is the tutorial I want to use for inspiration.
This tutorial shows how to unlink audio from a video.
This tutorial shows how to stabilize some shaky video clips.

Sky Replacement Tutorial

Instead of keying out the sky. This process uses masks to take out the sky and replace it with an image. That image can then also track movement in the sky, by tracking a cloud within the sky, and parenting that null object to the replacement sky.

Original Tutorial

For this tutorial, I experimented with keying out a sky and replacing it with a galaxy photo. I wanted to test it out on a video, but I couldn't find a sample one that could work. So I resorted to using a photo just as a test. The process is a bit difficult, because the keying cannot be edited. So if the video has a clear blue background, but the figure in it is wearing a blue t-shirt, it'll take that out as well. I'll be taking that into account when filming.

Project 4 Storyboard

For this last assignment, I wanted to create the visuals for a song. The song is titled "Celestial" by Tori Kelly, and it lends itself to several visual effects I would like to explore. For instance, the lyric "oceans turn to gold right before my eyes." I hope to actually film the ocean and add an effect that turns the colors to a gold vibrant hue. I plan to use video footage for the entirety of the project. I'm open to any other interpretations of these lyrics.

PSA: Natural Hair Movement (FINAL)

This is the current final rendition of the PSA project. I had thought about doing a bit of animation for the small figure with the afro, but chose to rather implement it into other methods I used. So I had used it with the stroke method and also explored masking certain elements.
